Welcome Ariton Alumni

This is a new page for our website and we would like to populate it with as much Alumni stuff as possible.  Below you will find a letter From Ms. Annie Catherine Dean to one of her classes that was found in some school files.  Sorry, but some of the pages may not be completely legible, so we have tried to transcribe as accurately as possible.  There is also a copy of the Alma Mater below written by Maurine Richardson Hutto and Eunice Hutto Morelock.  Another bit of trivia, in the library, you will find an original piece of furniture from the old school library that was built by Mr. N.D. Steele.

The Mary Vic Paramore Scholarship Fund was established in 2009 by the Ariton Matron's Study Club.  A high school senior, selected by the school administration, is awarded a $1,000.00 scholarship every year.  The Study Club has since disbanded and the scholarship is funded solely through donations.  If you are interested in contributing to this fund, we would greatly appreciate your support to continue to memorialize one of Ariton's finest educators.

If you would like to be listed as an Ariton Alumni on this page, please send you name and graduation year.  Maybe, you have an old photo or a brief memory you would like to share.  You may contact the names listed at the bottom of the page or you can send an email below.  We look forward to hearing from you.
